Yanina Wickmayer (born 20 October 1989 in Lier, Belgium) is a Belgian professional tennis player who is currently ranked World No. 25. She rose to prominence with her semi-final appearance at the 2009 US Open. She is noted for her distinctive "whoopee" scream every time she hits the ball. She is a baseline player who is mentally very strong on court, and has been known to say she does not consider herself to be very talented.
